Lutheran Home of Southbury, 120 bed facility (located near I-84) has a great full time, part time and per diem positions available in our Housekeeping/Laundry department.
Responsibilities include;
•Maintain cleanliness of the laundry room/resident rooms and equipment.
•Operate all laundry equipment ensuring that lines, towels, sheets and personal clothing are washed, dried, folded and distributed to our residents.
•Ability to observe proper safety and sanitary techniques.
•Ensure the highest degree of cleanliness and sanitation at all times meeting the resident’s needs.
•Follow state and federal regulations ensuring that infection control policies and procedures are met.
•Ability to read and understand English including labels and safety instructions.
•Ability to carry up to 50 lbs.
