The Lutheran Home of Southbury is seeking a Director of Nursing Services to be responsible for the leadership, organization and development of nursing staff in the care of residents living on campus.
The Lutheran Home of Southbury is a recently renovated, not for profit center, with generous staffing budgets, excellent survey history, tremendous reputation for quality of care, and exceptional customer service.
Using recognized standards of practice and a person-centered approach you will be responsible for the day-to-day clinical function of a 120 bed skilled nursing facility.
Primary responsibilities include a focus on customer service and collaboration with other departments to develop, support, and coordinate patient care and related functions. The successful leader will promote an atmosphere of respect, professional growth and encouragement for all nursing staff members and will assure regulatory standards and company goals are met or exceeded.

The successful candidate will have:
Connecticut R.N. licensure; BS preferred Minimum of 3-5 years long term care experience
2 years of experience preferred as a Director of Nursing Services (or regional nurse) in a rehabilitation and long term care environment A love of nursing and a desire to lead, support and respect a committed nursing department.
